Heather O'Rourke was found within 1980 by Steven Spielberg while eating lunch at a MGM Studios Commissary. Spielberg was wanting to find individual to play a a share of Five-season-old "Carol-Anne Freeling" in his approaching production of Poltergeist. He originally thought that she was as well immature for the a share (she was quaternion at the period) however fallowing an locate & a "scream test", he cast her in the role.

Poltergeist was freed within June 1982, and Heather's line: "They're he-eere!" entered Western pop culture.
